When placing an order with Ossian Jewellery Ltd. be assured that it will be shipped safely and securely. You will have the opportunity to insure your piece of jewellery from our premises to your front door. Depending on the availability of the piece of jewellery you have ordered it will be sent off to you within 28 days of you placing the order. It is your responsibility to make us aware of any special instructions which should be stated on the order e.g. a special occassion, special sizes of rings. Once your order is recieved we will contact our supplier to determine if the piece is available. We would highlight that 14 or 18 ct gold items are made to order rather than held in stock. We will acknowledge every order by e-mail and thereafter we will send a second e-mail to confirm that our supplier has been contacted and that your order is being fulfilled.
Shipping
When we accept your order there is a virtual contract created between you the customer and ourselves as the supplier. This contract only exists when we have notified you that we can fulfil your order or you have cancelled it.The price to be paid for the item is the price stated on our website at the time we accept your order. This will stand except for the following exceptions. Whilst we will make every endeavour that all prices on our website are accurate, errors do occur and if we discover that there has been an error we will make you aware of the mistake and give you the opportunity to continue with your order or withdraw at that time. If we cannot get in touch with you, we will consider the order to be cancelled. If you cancel you will receive a full refund.
European Union Deliveries
The postage charge for each Item to be delivered within the European Union will be stated at the checkout.
Non European Union (rest of the world) Deliveries
The postage charge for each item to be delivered out with the European Union (rest of the World) will be stated at the checkout.
Delivery Times
Ossian Jewellery Ltd cannot be responsible for delivery times from Scotland however standard service delivery to the EEC should arrive with 5 days. The rest of Europe should arrive in 7 days with the remainder of the world 7 – 10 days. To speed delivery up customers can request express delivery option however there is still no guarantee on the exact delivery date as a result of possible customs delays.
Important Notice
Delivery times shown are supplied by Royal mail. The length of time, that it takes for a package to travel from our premises to your door are listed and are also stated by Royal Mail. It is impossible to guarantee delivery times on any items purchased. Ossian Jewellery cannot be held responsible for delays caused by shipping, once goods have left our premises.
Christmas Deliveries
In the lead up to the festive season delivery times will get longer due to the volume of mail in the postal system. Please ensure that your order is placed well in advance of Christmas to avoid disappointment. Our advice is that last shipping date for stock items for UK is 20th December, for Europe and the United States is 12th December and for Australia 5th December. Made to order items can be placed until 10th December. If in doubt, please phone to avoid any disappointment.
Customs
There is no requirement for customs declaration invoice for EU countries. International packages which are marked as Small Packet deliveries have the goods described with costs on Customs declaration documents. Any Customs duties which are levied against the importing of the item into a particular country is the responsibility of the recipient. Ossian has no control over these charges and cannot foresee what they might be. Customs policy varies from country to country. It may be in your interest to contact your local customs office for up to date information.
